Roxie Barringer relocated from Phoenix to Peeples Valley 2000 with her husband, Russ. She was a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer with the Center in its earlier life as the Yarnell Senior Center.  She has been amazed at the growth and transformation at the Center, and was happy to see some of the same clients still being served by our MOW program.  Roxie is a passionate volunteer, serving over the years with many different organizations both locally and globally.  She has a special place in her heart for the elderly population, especially now that she, too, has retired.

Roxie’s professional career as a social worker concluded in June 2019. Her skills and experience in that field have been an asset to the Board since being appointed in November 2019.

Among Roxie’s favorite pastimes: spending time playing with her 7 grandchildren, quilting and travel.
